UKSA is an association that recognises that sport as a cultural phenomenon affect both people’s physical and mental aspects that are essential for the development of a happy and vigorous society and for the attainment of the individual’s emotional well being. It is therefore of the greatest importance that people engage in sporting activities throughout their lives.
On a social scale it is a significant element in the sound development of the young and the generation of a sense of solidarity in local communities. It also contributes to the national economy and promotes friendly international relations.
The main aims of UKSA are to promote growth and development, positive interpersonal relationships, and healthy life styles in an enjoyable atmosphere.
The commitment, creativity and strategic partnership shall be consistency demonstrated through outstanding programs, facilities and services.
UKSA will provide a platform for young people to compete in local and national tournaments. UKSA has made considerate progress since inception. The sporting activities are on the increase, their effectiveness has improved and the annual tournaments are becoming very popular with the children, young people and the adults
.
On behalf of UKSA I am very proud to say we have three youngsters under 16 years of age who have now been selected for representing Great Britain in sport of their choices and earmarked for great things to come in future. I wish them all the success.
